CDC Bookkeeping began with a spark of ambition and a whole lot of heart. Founded by Charidy Dawn Clubbe (yes, that’s where CDC comes from!) at just 19 years old, the vision was simple but impactful: to bring clarity, peace of mind, and personalized financial solutions to business owners. Fast forward to today, and CDC has grown into one of Saskatchewan’s largest bookkeeping firms, recognized for our innovative approach, exceptional customer service, and a serious knack for making numbers make sense.

But let’s face it—traditional bookkeeping has a bit of a “dusty basement” reputation. At CDC, we’re rewriting that narrative. We believe financial management should feel empowering, not intimidating, and we’re here to make it refreshingly simple and tailored to you.

Charidy Clubbe

Charidy is the driving force behind CDC Bookkeeping, a full-service financial management firm that has become one of Saskatchewan’s leading bookkeeping providers. Founded in 2000, CDC began as a small venture but quickly grew under Charidy’s leadership to now employ a vast team of experts. The firm offers a wide range of services including data entry and reconciliations, payroll, client training, reporting, receivables and payables management and government filings.

A prairie girl through and through, Charidy’s story is one of perseverance and passion. She began her career with an Accounting Diploma from SIAST and started CDC from her kitchen table, building the business from the ground up by understanding the unique challenges faced by entrepreneurs and small business owners. Her hands-on approach, dedication to client care, and commitment to personalized service have made CDC a trusted partner for businesses across Saskatchewan.

With a heart for both her clients and her community, Charidy continues to lead with integrity, ensuring that CDC remains a tech-forward, people-first firm that helps businesses thrive with financial clarity and confidence. Her journey from a kitchen-table startup to the helm of one of the largest bookkeeping firms in the province is a testament to her vision, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Deidra Froome

Deidra is a shining example of growth and success at CDC Bookkeeping. Beginning of her career doing data entry, Deidra has been with CDC from its humble beginnings, working alongside Charidy Clubbe as the firm grew from a kitchen-table operation to one of Saskatchewan’s leading bookkeeping companies. Through hard work, dedication, and hands-on learning, Deidra transitioned into a Bookkeeper role and now proudly leads a team of Bookkeepers as a Team Lead and is a Partner at CDC.

Deidra holds an Accounting Technology education from SIAST, further strengthening her expertise in payroll, bookkeeping, and managed services. Her journey reflects CDC’s core values: you don’t need a degree to be successful here — you need passion, integrity, and a commitment to learning. Deidra’s expertise spans payroll, bookkeeping, and managed services, and she is known for her patience, calm demeanor, and thoughtful approach. Clients love working with her because of her loyalty, attention to detail, and dedication to their financial success.

Carey Bursaw

Carey is a versatile and dedicated professional with a broad range of experience spanning bookkeeping, payroll, and employee relations. She began her career with CDC Bookkeeping in 2010, and has grown into a Partner and Team Lead. As a Team Lead, Carey oversees both Bookkeepers and Payroll Technicians, ensuring seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Raised on a farm in Saskatchewan, Carey’s strong work ethic, perseverance, and dedication to honesty have been the cornerstones of her career. With a background in bookkeeping dating back to 2000, she has worked across numerous industries, bringing a wealth of experience to every client she supports. Carey has a particular passion for working with non-profits, helping them with reporting, budgeting, and navigating the financial complexities of their sector.

Carey’s journey with CDC has been marked by continuous growth and education, and she attributes much of her success to the mentorship she’s received. Known for her client-focused approach, she enjoys engaging with clients to find solutions that make a real impact on their businesses.
